MB Daily News Update: Consecrating Russia, Ukraine to Blessed Mother


Catholic bishops in the country are set to join Pope Francis in consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 2022, even as churches nationwide have been implored to allocate collections on Sunday, March 20, 2022, to victims of the war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported that 329 Filipinos have so far been repatriated from Ukraine ever since the war began.

President Duterte also maintained that the Philippines will remain neutral in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, saying that this was not yet the time to take sides.

The Palace also said that the President will announce his decision on the proposed four-day work week amid the fuel crisis on Monday, March 21, 2022.
