Kapuso actress Carla Abellana is seemingly moving on smoothly amid marital woes with estranged husband Tom Rodriguez.

On Instagram, Carla reposted her sister Erica's sweet congratulatory message.

In there, Carla posed with a shovel at a vacant lot.

Erica wrote: "PROUD OF THIS SMART, STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN @CARLAANGELINE (heart emoji) HERE'S TO YOUR FUTURE DREAM HOME, SEESTER (house building emoji) ABU!"

Carla's mom Rea also shared a similar photo on Instagram with the caption: "GROUND BREAKING DAY (smiling face with sunglasses emoji)."

Meanwhile, veteran showbiz scribe Cristy Fermin has revealed on her radio show that there are rumors that Carla is planning to file for an annulment.

“At ngayon nga may napapabalita na namang annulment na si Carla daw ang magsusulong,” she said. “Ito ba ang problemang sinasabi niyong pupwede niyong ayusin, kaya niyong ayusin. Uuwi na ito sa annulment, ano 'to?.”

In January, just three months after Carla and Tom got married, the Kapuso stars have reportedly separated.

Rumor has it that a third party caused the split.

But Carla's father Rey “PJ” Abellana shed a bit of light on the issue.

The reason, Rey said, is not the so-called third party on the part of Tom as alleged.

“Hindi po natin maku-consider na third party…Ang pangyayari one night stand.”

Though a few days later, PJ refuted his statement.

Note that the Kapuso stars' marital woes became the talk of the town after many fans noticed that they have unfollowed each other's accounts.

Then adding fuel to the fire were their respective cryptic posts.

During that time, Carla was often spotted not wearing her wedding ring.

Carla and Tom tied the knot in October last year after eight years of being sweethearts.
