PCUP conducts DRRM seminar in Toledo City, Cebu


Over 300 families and beneficiaries residing in Toledo City, Cebu attended the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor’s (PCUP) Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) seminar.

The families and beneficiaries, according to PCUP, have all been affected by the onslaught of typhoon Odette. Meanwhile, aside from the DRRM seminar, the Commission also distributed health and emergency kits to each participant.

“Patuloy na magsusulong ng mga inisyatiba at agarang tulong ang Komisyon para mabigyang tulong ang mga maralitang tagalungsod na lubhang naapektuhan ng pandemya gayundin ng bagyong Odette (The Commission will continue to promote initiatives and immediate assistance to provide help to the urban poor who have been affected by the pandemic as well as typhoon Odette),” said PCUP Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alvin Feliciano in a press statement on Friday, March 11.

The seminar was held from March 9 to March 10 in partnership with the Community Affairs and Development (CAD) office of Toledo City.
