BTS' Seoul concert shown live in 75 countries, regions


The second day of K-pop superstars BTS’ concert in Seoul was held on March 12 and fans in different countries were able to watch it live.

On March 12, the “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage-Seoul” was held at Seoul Olympic Stadium before 15,000 fans.

In addition, live viewing of the concert was held in 3,711 movie theaters in 75 countries and regions.

In the Philippines, SM Cinema screened the BTS concert in 34 branches on March 12. The first show, which ran for three hours and 15 minutes, was held at 4:45 p.m. while the immediate playback was held at 8:45 p.m.

The “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage-Seoul” is a face-to-face concert held for the first time in two and a half years. “Live viewing” allowed fans around the world to watch the concert in theaters.

BTS first tried “live viewing” during the “BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” concert in October 2019. The live viewing was held in seven countries and regions. During the “BTS Map of the Soul ON:E” in 2020, live viewing was held in Japan.

BTS kicked off the “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage-Seoul” on March 10 with online streaming.

A total of 15,000 fans were allowed by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to attend per concert day for a total of 45,000 in three days.

During the first day of the concert on March 10, BTS performed 22 songs. These were “ON,” “Burning Up (FIRE),” “Dope,” “DNA,” “Blue & Grey,” “Black Swan,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “Fake Love,” “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Telepathy,” “Outro: Wings,” “Stay,” “So What,” “Idol,” “Home,” “Airplane pt.2,” “Silver Spoon,” “Dis-ease” and “Permission to Dance.”

BTS will hold the finale of the Seoul concert on March 13.
