Vice President Leni Robredo's net satisfaction rating dropped by 23 points in December 2021, based on the 4th quarter 2021 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey results.
The SWS survey conducted among 1,4,40 respondents from Dec. 12 to 16, 2021, showed that from a "good" rating of +24 in September 2021, Robredo's net satisfaction rating fell to "neutral" at +1 (41 percent satisfied minus 40 percent dissatisfied with her performance).
The initial findings were first presented at the annual SWS Survey Review on Feb. 7, 2022, but the full survey results were released on Friday, March 11, 2022.
SWS explained that the 23-point decline in the overall net satisfaction rating of Robredo was due to decreases in all areas, especially in Mindanao.
Robredo's net satisfaction rating fell from neutral (+1) to poor (-16) in Metro Manila, from good (+47) to moderate (+27) in the Visayas, and from moderate (+20) to poor (-27) in Mindanao.
Meanwhile, it stayed moderate in Balance Luzon, although down from +24 in September to +10 in December.
Urban net satisfaction fell from moderate to poor, down from +13 in September to -13 in December. Rural net satisfaction fell from good to moderate, down from +34 in September to +14 in December.
SWS also noted that Robredo's net satisfaction rating fell from moderate (+17) to neutral (-4) among men and from good (+32) to neutral (+6) among women.
Likewise, it went down from moderate to neutral levels among the 18-54-year-olds, down from +16 to +26 range in September to -5 to +2 range in December.
It also fell from good to neutral among those 55 years old and above, down from +32 in September to +6 in December.
"By education, Vice-President Robredo's net satisfaction rating fell from good to neutral among non-elementary graduates, down from +42 in September to +5 (correctly rounded) in December. It also fell from good to neutral among elementary graduates, down from +36 in September to +4 (correctly rounded) in December," SWS said.
"It fell from moderate to neutral among junior high school graduates, down from +15 in September to -1 in December. It also fell from moderate to neutral among college graduates, down from +20 in September to +1 in December," it added.
Sotto receives 'very good' +52 net satisfaction rating
The SWS survey found Senate President Vicente Sotto III's net satisfaction rating rising from good to very good--from +46 in September 2021 to +52 (65 percent satisfied, 14 percent dissatisfied) in December 2021.
The six-point increase in the overall net satisfaction rating of Sotto was due to increases in all areas except in Mindanao.
"Senate President Sotto's net satisfaction rating rose from good to very good in Metro Manila, up from +49 (correctly rounded) in September to +53 in December. It also rose from good to very good in Balance Luzon, up from +47 in September to +56 (correctly rounded) in December. It stayed very good in the Visayas, up from +51 in September to +63 in December. It stayed good in Mindanao, although down slightly from +37 in September to +31 in December," SWS said.
Sotto's urban net satisfaction stayed good, even if it was up slightly from +45 in September to +48 in December.
Meanwhile, his rural net satisfaction rose from good to very good, up from +47 in September to +55 in December.
Sotto's net satisfaction rating also stayed good among men, hardly moving from +44 (correctly rounded) in September to +45 in December, while it rose from good to very good among women, up from +48 in September to +58 in December.
"Senate President Sotto's net satisfaction rating stayed good among the 18-34-year-olds, up from +37 to +48 range in September to +40 to +49 range in December. It rose from good to very good among those 35 years old and above, up from +45 to +49 range in September to +50 to +59 range in December," SWS said.
Net satisfaction with Speaker Velasco at 'neutral' +5
Net satisfaction with Speaker Lord Allan Velasco stayed neutral, down slightly from +8 in September 2021 to +5 (29 percent satisfied, 24 percent dissatisfied) in December 2021.
SWS said the three-point decline in the overall net satisfaction rating of Velasco was due to declines in all areas except the Visayas.
"Speaker Velasco's net satisfaction rating stayed neutral in Metro Manila, although down slightly from +6 in September to +1 in December. It stayed neutral in Balance Luzon, although down slightly from +8 (correctly rounded) in September to +5 in December. It also stayed neutral in Mindanao, although down from +9 in September to -2 in December. However, it rose from neutral to moderate in the Visayas, up from +6 in September to +17 in December," SWS said.
CJ Gesmundo's net rating a 'neutral' +7
Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo's net satisfaction rating stayed neutral, up slightly from +2 in September 2021 to +7 (26 percent satisfied, 20 percent dissatisfied) in December 2021.
SWS pointed out that the five-point increase in the overall net satisfaction rating of Gesmundo was due to increases in Balance Luzon and the Visayas, combined with slight decreases in Metro Manila and Mindanao.
"Net satisfaction with Chief Justice Gesmundo rose from neutral to moderate in Balance Luzon, up from +2 in September to +14 in December. It rose from neutral to moderate in the Visayas, up from net zero in September to +11 (correctly rounded) in December. It stayed neutral in Metro Manila, although down slightly from net zero in September to -3 in December. It also stayed neutral in Mindanao, although down from +4 in September to -3 in December," SWS said.
Gesmundo's urban net satisfaction was up slightly from -1 in September to +5 but stayed neutral in December.
His rural net satisfaction also stayed neutral, even if it was slightly up from +4 in September to +8 in December.
