Hosting presidential candidate Marcos and his running mate Duterte was Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) stalwart, Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez.

Marcos, a former senator, is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) party. Duterte, on the other hand, is the incumbent Davao City mayor and chairperson of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) party.

Aside from Hernandez, those who supported the UniTeam by their mere presence were Vice Governor Karen Agapay and the 18 mayors of Laguna led by mayors' league president, Edgar Ramos.

The governor took the microphone on stage and introduced the UniTeam as "President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (Bongbong) and "Vice President Inday Sara Duterte", as if they’re already conquered their May 9 rivals.

Based on the crowd's roar of approval, that's exactly what they want to see come election day.

After the campaign activity, Hernandez hosted lunch for the survey-leading BBM-Sara tandem and the rest of their team.

The duo was scheduled to hold another grand rally Friday afternoon at Santa Rosa Sports Complex.

Earlier in the day upon their arrival in Laguna, Mayor Duterte and Lakas-CMD President House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez of Leyte's 1st district paid a courtesy call to Hernandez.
