This year, Grab Philippines has allocated P25 million in Assistance Fund to help driver and delivery partners overcome the impact of natural calamities and ongoing macroeconomic conditions, the company announced Friday, March 11.

The Partner Assistance Fund will be "in the form of performance-based incentives and other partner support programs".

“The economic challenges that we are experiencing require a longer-term solution from all sectors of our society," remarked Grab Philippines Senior Director for Strategy and Operations Ronald Roda.

"We are optimistic that through our efforts, we are inspiring more platforms, businesses, and organizations to advocate for their stakeholders during these challenging times."

"Grab Philippines will continue to tailor our programs to the real-time needs of our consumers, driver- and delivery-partners, and merchants in the country,” he said.

In addition to the Partner Assistance Fund, Grab Philippines also extends zero-interest loan support on fuel purchasing through Grab Finance Shell Fuel Card, where select drivers and delivery-partners can avail of a week’s worth of fuel.

Grab has proactively engaged its regulators and government partners to revisit the current fare and fee structures of its ride-hailing and deliveries business.

The company also ensures that driver- and delivery-partners are recipients of the government’s fuel subsidy program.
