Confiscated during the operation were 15 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a brown sling bag, and P4,000 buy-bust money.
The police said the seized rugs weighing about 200 grams with an estimated value of P1.36 million will be turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
The suspects, who are now detained at the Muntinlupa police’s custodial facility, will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
“I congratulate our police in Muntinlupa for the arrest of the suspects and confiscation of a million worth of suspected shabu. Under my tenure, I will not allow southern Metro to become a hotbed for illegal activities. We will not stop and will expand our operations to win in this battle,” said SPD director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.
