MB Daily News Update: Not all Pinoys fleeing Ukraine headed home


There may be hundreds of Filipinos who have already fled from war-torn Ukraine, but not all of them are headed home to the Philippines. Some of them have opted to stay in Ukraine or a nearby European country expecting to land well-paying jobs.

After an order from Malacanang, the Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have promptly complied to investigate the case of 34 missing cockfighting aficionados, or “sabungeros”, whose disappearance has left law enforcers, families, and senators at a lost as to what really happened to them.
