MB Daily News Update: All regions down to minimal Covid-19 risk

With the government’s massive vaccination campaign considered as a “game changer”, the Department of Health disclosed Monday night, March 7, 2022, that all regions in the country are now at minimal Covid-19 risk. In fact, the Philippines now has the lowest number of daily infections compared to its Southeast Asian neighbors.

And this could result in just 300 to 500 infections daily, according to the OCTA Research Group.

Erstwhile Presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles has been named by President Duterte as the new Civil Service Commission chairperson, replacing Alicia Dela Rosa Bala who retired a month ago.

Filipinos will also wake up to staggering fuel prices this Tuesday, March 8, 2022, after many motorists tried to beat the price surge by filling up their tanks Monday night.
