Mylene Paat is going home to the Philippines with a Best Scorer plum and a bronze medal after Nakhon Ratchasima finished third in Volleyball Thailand League Sunday.
Paat became the first Filipino volleyball import in her generation to win an individual award as an import.
This was also the second individual award for the lefty opposite hitter after bagging the Best Scorer award in the 2018 Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference where she played for the Cignal HD Spikers.
She joined fellow individual awardees that include Paat’s teammate Chitaporn Kamlangmak as Best Middle Blocker along with Diamond Food’s Kaewkalaya Kamulthala, Most Valuable Player and Best Outside Hitter Sasipapron Janthawisut of eventual champion team Diamond Food, Best Outside Hitter Kannika Thipachot of runner-up squad Supreme Chonburi, Best Opposite Spiker Malika Kanthong also of Diamond Food, Best Setter Soraya Phomla of Supreme, Best Libero Tikamporn Changkeaw of Diamond Food and Best Server Thanatcha Sooksod of Supreme.
