'Ukraine is bleeding but has not fallen': Ukraine calls on every country to demand Putin to stop war
Ukraine is bleeding but has not fallen.

This was what Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Sunday, March 6, as he called on every country in the world to demand Russia to stop the ongoing war.
"As you see from the news feed, Ukraine is bleeding but Ukraine has not fallen and stands both feet on the ground," Kuleba said as he addressed the international press through a Facebook live.
He reported that the Ukrainian armed forces and all forces of defense are defending Ukraine in all directions and "have achieved some major successes in the past 24 hours, pushing back Russian invaders on the number of fronts."
The foreign minister disclosed that Russia has lost over 10,000 troops, 39 aircrafts, 40 helicopters, 269 tanks, 945 armored vehicles, 105 artillery pieces, 19 anti-aircraft warfare system and more.
"The myth of the unbeatable and almighty Russian army is already ruined. This is a true people's war for the Ukrainian people and this is the reason why the Russian advance has not been able to achieve its strategic goals," he said.
While Ukraine is keeping a strong defense against the "unprovoked and brutal Russian aggression," it is also continuously meeting foreign country leaders and councils to step up the pressure on Russia, which Kuleba said, is key to stopping the war.
The Ukrainian diplomat disclosed that they demanded new round of sanctions against Russia during a foreign affairs council meeting with the European Union (EU), including closing European ports for Russian ships, closing access of Russia to cryptocurrency, and stopping purchases of Russian oil.
"We need to step up pressure on Russia and strengthen Ukraine's defense in order to prevail as we defend not only Ukraine but also the European security and the world order as we know it," Kuleba said.

He urged all foreign leaders "to prove with actions" their pronouncements to not let a devastating war happen again, stressing that it is high time they prove they have learned their lessons from the past.
"My message to the world is clear, when all European and other leaders at all ceremonies throughout the year repeat those sacred words: never again, they now need to prove with actions that they stand by those words. That they are committed to not let it happen again," Kuleba said.
"Never again, prove it. Prove now that you have learned the lessons from the past. That the new brutal force in Europe can be stopped before it drags the whole continent into a devastating conflict," he added.
He reiterated that the way to stop the war is to unite and to continue stepping up pressure to Russia, saying "this is the only way that all of us can prevail."
"Every country in the world can help us by demanding (Russian President Vladimir) Putin to stop the war," he said.
