Scouts Royale frat endorses UniTeam's Marcos-Duterte tandem


The Scouts Royale Brotherhood International Service Fraternity and Sorority, Inc. (SRB) has endorsed the UniTeam tandem, accoding to the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats team on Sunday, March 6.

The UniTeam duo is led by Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and Lakas–CMD vice presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

The SRB presented a ‘Manifesto of Unity and Support’ to Lakas–CMD National President Rep. Martin Romualdez, declaring their support to the two candidates.

According to the fraternity, the UniTeam’s platform of “unity” would be important in the country’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We welcome the support. We are glad that more and more groups and organizations such as the SRB are hearing the messages of hope, economic recovery and development of the BBM-SARA tandem, and are heeding its call for unity,” Romualdez said.

SRB also endorsed the TINGOG Party-list candidates running for congress, namely: Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, Jude Acidre, and actress Karla Estrada.

“SRB is convinced that TINGOG Partylist’a thrust of championing regional development is critical in charting a productive future as the Philippines reels from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the SRB said.

Marcos, Jr. is running for the presidency alongside running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in the 2022 polls.
