Duterte appoints heads of prosecutors' offices

President Duterte has appointed heads of the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) prosecutors’ offices in the provinces of Bataan, Quezon, Cavite, and La Union, and in Tuguegarao City.

Appointed provincial prosecutors were Jeffrey Camantigue Cruz for Bataan; Rodrigo Ellano Domingo, Quezon; Vivian Monzon Rojo, Cavite; and Bonifacio Bermudez Mangibin, La Union.

Named Tuguegarao City prosecutor was Jessie Buncab Usita.

Their appointments were forwarded to Justice Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra by the Office of the President late Friday evening, March 4.

Last March 3, the President also appointed 68 prosecutors for the offices of the DOJ’s National Prosecution Service (NPS) nationwide.

Also, last February the President either appointed or promoted 92 prosecutors, among them six provincial prosecutors and six city prosecutors.
