"Not at all, not at all," Robredo said Friday, March 4, when asked if she is discouraged by the numbers.

The Vice President said it actually serves as a challenge for her and supporters to do better in the campaign in a bid to push the numbers higher on her favor.

She reiterated that starting from the bottom of the surveys is no longer new to her as she cited her placing in 2016 surveys, when she was running for the vice presidency, where she only moved up to number two during the third week of April that year.

"So ano talaga ito (this is really a), down to the finish line talaga yung laban (fight) and mas lalo tayong na-iinspire kasi nararamdaman natin yung energy talaga (and we are more inspired because we can feel the energy) on the ground," Robredo said as she visited Cavite on Friday.

The aspiring president is also hopeful that she will manage to turn the tables come May 9 in Cavite, where Governor Jonvic Remulla promised over 800,000 votes for presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Robredo said this disadvantage actually helps her and her supporters and volunteers to work harder and convince more people to join her bid. She also said that looking how "fired up" the crowd in her visit in Cavite makes her "very hopeful" that she will earn better results from the province.

Robredo also stressed that while she was a candidate endorsed by the administration in 2016, she believes that the turnout of people in her campaign activities now better gauges her chances at winning the presidency.

"Noon kasing admin candidates kami, malaki yung command na yung pumupunta sa rallies because of the local officials. So kami, looking back, hindi talaga siya naging mabuting sukatan kung okay ka ba o hindi doon sa pinuntahan mo (In the past, when we were admin candidates, we had a huge command in rallies because of the local officials. So, looking back, it was not a good basis if we are doing good in the places that we visit)," she said.

"Ako paniniwala ko, mas mabuting sukatan ngayon kasi ngayon, wala talagang hakot, walang anything. Yung mga tao, pupunta pag magsabi ka lang na merong ganitong event, pupunta. So sa akin, mas hopeful ako actually ngayon (I believe, what we have now is a better basis, because we don't have to bring people, no anything. People go when we say that we have an event like this. So for me, I am actually more hopeful now)," she added.

Robredo further said that her jam-packed campaign rallies is "a symbol that people are initiating this," something she did not see in the 2016 and 2013 election campaigns.

Robredo met with volunteers and supporters of the Team Robredo-Pangilinan in Carmona, Dasamarinas, Noveleta in Cavite. She also made a visit at the Diocesan Shrine of our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Rosario, Cavite.

She and runningmate Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan will hold a grand rally in General Trias Friday evening.
