MB Daily News Update: 'Don't be complacent, Covid still here' -- DOH


The virus is still here, the Department of Health (DOH) warned the public, even as it recorded daily infections at less than 1,000 anew on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

And with the alert level down to its lowest in Metro Manila, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is also returning to a capacity of 10,000 passengers a day, while airlines have also gone back to full capacity that will kick-start the rebound of the aviation and tourism industry.

Public utility drivers are also set to receive P6,500 in fuel subsidy, according to the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) as the government’s way of helping them cope with the rising costs of fuel.
