Kapuso stars Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo will star in the remake of the popular Korean television series "Start-Up."

The new Kapuso project was officially announced on "24 Oras" on March 4.

The Netflix drama series tells about young entrepreneurs aspiring to launch virtual dreams into reality compete for success and love in the cutthroat world of Korea's high-tech industry. Its original version stars Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Kim Seon-ho.

In 2020, Bea and Alden were also announced to star in the Philippine adaptation of another Korean flick, "A Moment To Remember."

The movie follows the journey of a young couple whose relationship will be put to the test when the woman is diagnosed with early onset of Alzheimer’s disease. It is a story that will test how much love can withstand and show how it can triumph in the midst of pain, fear, denial and acceptance.

This after three of the country’s film production giants – Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment – sealed their partnership to co-produce the Philippine adaptation of the Japanese drama “Pure Soul,” from which the hit Korean movie “A Moment to Remember” was also adapted.
