After 13 Filipinos arrived in Manila on Tuesday night, March 1, 2022, 21 Pinoy seafarers were reportedly able to leave Ukraine, and have made their way to Moldova, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Their exit from Ukraine couldn’t have come at a better time as conflict continued to escalate with five persons among those reported killed in a rocket attack at the Kyiv television tower.
On the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the OCTA Research Group said Metro Manila posted its lowest infection rate since mid-December last year.
And on the second day of Alert Level 1 in the metropolis, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported heavier traffic in major thoroughfares, and more people observed in public areas like malls and parks.
