Alessandro Michele unveils collab collection via ‘Exquisite Gucci’ runway show
Last month, Prada gifted the world with a Re-Nylon collaboration with Adidas. Today at Milan Fashion Week, Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele presented a collaboration with the sports brand, elevating signature silhouettes from both labels.
“Inside a room filled with magical mirrors, Alessandro Michele reveals Exquisite Gucci. A collection infused with 80s-inspired silhouettes, studded accessories, adidas x Gucci pieces and a new take on men’s tailoring,” detailed Gucci.
Alessandro Michele made use of striking colors, mixed materials, and combinations of patterns for the fall 2022 collection. Gucci’s suits have been stamped with Adidas’ trefoil logo and the three-stripes motif can be seen running down the sides of the pieces.
Aside from the suits, there were also a number of more casual looks which sported plaid patterns and Gucci’s monogram married with Adidas’ motifs. The three stripes also appeared on accessories like hats, scarves, shoes, bags, and gloves.
Show attendees included Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who were seen wearing some of the latest pieces and were photographed with Alessandro. Check out the show below:
