MPTC launches MPT DriveHub

Going on a road trip soon? Use MPT DriveHub to make your journey more fun, enjoyable, and easy.

More and more people are scratching their travel bug and going on roadtrips – visiting the pristine beaches of Zambales, food tripping in Pampanga, sauntering in the cool highlands of Tagaytay, and roaming around the lush forests of Laguna.

But traveling today should be more than just the destination, it should also be about the journey. This means that the trip itself must be a great experience.

To enable motorists to feel the joy of travel, Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) launches today MPT DriveHub, a travel companion app that offers a spectrum of mobility solutions for a hassle-free journey.

From RFID Management, Trip Planning, and Roadside Assistance, MPT DriveHub has everything that motorists need to make their journey hassle-free.

“After being cooped up in their homes for two years, people are now itching to travel. We see people now going on road trips and we saw an opportunity for us to further elevate the customer experience in our network of expressways through MPT DriveHub,” MPTC Chief Digital and Information Officer Carlo L. Cagalingan said.

An all-in-one app, MPT DriveHub houses various digital tools and solutions that will allow expressway users to better enjoy travels, especially the in-between. After all, it is just as important as the beginning and the end of a trip.

Available for both iOS and Android devices, MPT DriveHub empowers motorists to smartly and conveniently plan their trips through its features for RFID account management, trip planning, and roadside assistance.

MPT DriveHub enables its users to easily manage their RFID accounts. Whether to check their balances or reload their accounts, it ensures a smoother and more efficient journey. It also allows users to easily compute their toll fees so they can prepare their load ahead.

Moreover, MPT DriveHub gives its users the power of information, giving them the necessary info to plan and schedule their journey. With this feature, users will be able to know where the nearest pit stops are for dining, bathroom breaks, gas-ups, or even shopping for last-minute pasalubong. MPT DriveHub also provides users with relevant traffic advisory and updates.

Lastly, MPT DriveHub allows users to immediately request for roadside assistance by readily having the expressway hotline number in the app, so help is one call away wherever you are in the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX), or the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

“Mobility is not just about moving from point A to point B. It’s about the entire experience of having safety, ease, confidence and convenience. MPT DriveHub will make our motorists enjoy even the pit stops, the hunt for good food, the gas ups — before and during a road trip,” MPT Mobility Vice President for Business Development and MPT DriveHub Head Mark Richmund M. De Leon said.

MPT DriveHub is envisioned to become a must-have for road travel, as MPTC believes that improved mobility is expected to be supported by tech-driven solutions that allow road users to enjoy the journey in its entirety.

“We believe that technology will play a key role as we drive towards the future of travel and mobility. We will continue to explore more tech-driven solutions that will enable us to further our goal of positively transforming people’s lives by offering them the freedom of journey,” Cagalingan said.

MPT DriveHub is now available for download on Apple Store and Google Playstore. Users of the NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, and CALAX can now enjoy the benefit of improved mobility through MPT DriveHub. Soon, MPT DriveHub will also be available for use in the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX).
