Metro Manila will be under Alert Level 1 starting March 1, 2022. But this would still require the wearing of face masks, and proof of full vaccination in areas prescribed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

Presidential Adviser on Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion said that lowering to Alert Level 1 will be coming in time so that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be able to recover from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
