ZAMBOANGA CITY-- Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s vice presidential bid gained the much-needed boost with the pledge of support coming from three major political parties in Zamboanga del Sur that was made during her visit here on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022.

Three parties, headed by Zamboanga del Sur Governor Victor Yu and gubernatorial aspirants Aurora Cerilles, former Zamboanga del Sur Governor, and former Dumingag mayor Nacianceno Pacalioga promised their support for Duterte and UniTeam standard bearer former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos.
A huge crowd of supporters gathered outside the Pagadian City Hall as Pagadian mayor Sammy Co introduced Duterte and senatorial aspirant Robin Padilla to the crowd.
Duterte vowed to continue her father’s programs on infrastructure development and crime prevention.
Padilla, a Muslim convert, wooed Muslim voters, and promised to represent them in the Senate.
Prior to the program, Duterte graced the inauguration of the IPM-UniTeam BBM Sara Regional Headquarters in Pagadian City.
She was met by politicians and supporters from municipalities in Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga City.
Duterte also talked to Pagadian City local officials about her plans when she is elected vice president.
