President Duterte has appointed four provincial prosecutors, two city prosecutors, and 52 assistant provincial and city prosecutors for the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) National Prosecution Service (NPS).
Also appointed were several state prosecutors who were designated members of the Office of the Secretary of Justice Prosecution Staff (OSJPS).
Their appointments were released early evening Saturday, Feb. 26, by the office of Secretary of Justice Menardo I. Guevarra.
Appointed provincial prosecutors were Mary Ann W. Tugbang-Torres, Zamboanga del Sur, vice Dimapuno L. Magangcong; Josephine Lacson Acuyado, vice Luzermindo A. Calmorin; Vito Tesiorna Gotostos, Surigao del Sur, vice Florito G. Cuartero; and Emelyn T. Nacin-Catolico, Zambales, vice Jorge D. Baculi.
Named city prosecutors were Romeo Gloriani Rodrigo III, Kidapawan City, vice Melvin A. Lamata; and Benjamin Sainz Pongos Jr., vice Marcelo C. Oñate.
