No. 4 Andrade knocks out Pacatiw, remains undefeated in ONE

Brazilian star Fabricio Andrade just proved why he is the "uncrowned king" of ONE Championship's bantamweight division.

Andrade, the No. 4 bantamweight contender, only needed 97 seconds to knock out Team Lakay's Jeremy Pacatiw in ONE: Full Circle at the Singapore Indoor Stadium Friday night, Feb. 25.

Pacatiw tried to make the first move, advancing for a few blows in the opening seconds.

Little did Pacatiw know that danger is slowly coming at him as Andrade waited for the perfect opportunity to land one, clean shot.

Andrade landed a lethal left knee -- an accurate liver shot -- to counter Pacatiw's missed overhand right.

The Igorot warrior couldn't help but scream and grimace in pain and was left down the canvas, prompting referee Justin Brown to stop the match at the 1:37 mark of the first round.

"Everybody who trains me know how dangerous I am," said Andrade, who remained undefeated in ONE Championship with an overall record of 7-2.

"I am the uncrowned king and everybody knows it. I'll get back really soon. I have no injuries, you know. I want to thank that guy (Pacatiw). That guy is a warrior. Not everyone who steps in here who takes on a guy from wins like I am coming. So Jeremy you have my respect for taking this fight."

Pacatiw, for his part, suffered his first promotional loss since his debut win last July and fell to a 10-5 slate.
