Kūsho is the newest nest for NFTs by Filipino artists

Mix in three tech-savvy anime enthusiasts, a boundless fascination for crypto, and a high
appreciation for local Filipino artists, and we have Kūsho- the first and upcoming animé-inspired
Filipino Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project launching this March 18.

Kūsho is a platform that aims to be the means to properly compensate Filipino artists by allowing
them to put their works up as unique digital assets. With this, it hopes to dispel unjust instances
for artists such as undervaluing and lowballing. Kūsho stands as a brand of its own, aiming to
establish its identity as a safe space for artists to express themselves and a catalyst for the local
NFT scene to come alive.

Kūsho is your door to the Shinsekai- the new world that is built by the artists, but it is so much
more than that. It will also be the go-to for your “ano ba ‘yang mga NFT na yan” curiosities. Aside
from being a minting platform, it offers podcasts, webinars, and community discussions on the
arts and the Metaverse. The creators of Kūsho are firm on bringing NFT education to the local
community as they believe in the ability of NFTs to make transactions safer and easier for artists.

Owning a Kūsho NFT will provide utilities for the general public to enjoy such as privileges fueled
by partnerships, getting to join the Kūsho community, and most importantly, getting to acquire
high-quality unique digital assets that are affordable.

The project is currently on its first phase which includes garnering community engagement,
securing partnerships, and giving gradual previews of the actual minting platform. The second
phase mainly involves launching the Kūsho Verse: Army of Artists – a project wherein selected
artists within the community will be onboarded to collaborate and create the next collections of
Kūsho. To keep people in the loop of Kūsho’s future, more phases of the project are presented
on their website and social media platforms.

“May paninindigan kami… ang Kūsho ay para pahalagahan ang arts and artists.” Sachie
Santiago, the lead programmer emphasizes. “The biggest utility is Kūsho being a platform in itself.
Gusto namin na yung Kūsho ay vina-vitalize ang community, and vice versa.” Yuann Acosta, the
leader of the project adds. Kūsho is already seeing good following from the local community, with
the Kūsho Discord server currently having more than 5,700 people. Partnerships from various
collaborators such as ESET and IMPLICIT have also been teased in Kūsho’s social media
platforms. The growth of the project is promising and it attests that NFTs are here to stay and serve.
