Fiber internet service provider Converge ICT Solutions, forged a partnership with SweldoMo to provide digital workspaces for SMEs and large enterprises.

The partnership seeks to provide human resources (HR) management in the Cloud service. The digital workplace is accessible through any device, anytime, anywhere, with an automated payroll and HR management system for timekeeping and payroll processes.

“Converge continues to become more than just an internet service provider by giving opportunities for growth to businesses with our digital solutions," according to Converge’s Chief Operating Officer Jesus Romero during the signing of the partnership agreement.

"Our common goal is to make managing business more convenient to maximize growth and efficiency,” noted SweldoMo’s Chief Marketing and Chief Sales Officer Nino Obach.

"Digital efficiency is for everyone," he stressed.

"By ensuring the highest level of accuracy in our automated processes, we can empower more businesses to achieve functional efficiency in their daily operations and become a modern workplace."

In the future, aside from SweldoMo, the partners will launch more SME and enterprise solutions under the Converge Workplace.

Converge Workplace SweldoMo envisions businesses to be a modern workplace, by shifting to fully automated processes from the usual manual procedures.

A modern workplace enables employers and employees to do almost everything virtually, from the hiring to retiring process.

Through SweldoMo, timekeeping and attendance management is automated, ensuring 100 percent real time and accurate data.

This feature eliminates errors, double-entry records and other inconsistencies due to manual processing.

With SweldoMo’s FaceDTR mobile app, users can clock in and out on the go.

Integrated with photo capture and geo-tagging features, it is perfect for a work-anywhere scenario which is one of the elements of a modern workplace.

It also has an employee self-service portal that can be accessed through the mobile or web app.

With this, employees can file their DTRs, overtime, official business days, leaves, reviewing time logs and requesting COE’s hassle-free. Managers can also approve these requests real time.

The software also values accuracy and timeliness especially in terms of processing the employee’s salaries.

With Converge Workplace SweldoMo, delayed salaries will now be a thing of the past.

Payroll processing with SweldoMo can be done in a matter of minutes instead of days through its automated processes.

Furthermore, SweldoMo helps businesses shift to a paperless system, through its automated processing of employees’ 201 files.

Employers can access personnel files from anywhere, without having to browse through piles of paper and filing cabinets.

More importantly, the system is deemed compliant with government regulations, particularly with the Department of Labor and Employment and the Data Privacy Act.

SweldoMo has a dedicated team monitoring all government regulations to make sure that the system is adjusted accordingly with recent state mandates.

SweldoMo has also secured a compliance certificate from the National Privacy Commission, to make sure that all data stored and collected are safe.

“We want businesses to grow without worrying too much about their expansion costs," Romero explained.

"Now, they can increase their employee headcount to maximize efficiency, without allocating too much cost on HR management.”
