All members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) community will be included under his administration if he wins, presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso assured.

“I don’t like prejudice at wala dapat (there should be no) prejudice. Sa Maynila (In Manila), in our own little way, walang lalake, walang babae, walang bakla, walang tomboy, walang mahirap, walang middle class, walang mayaman, sa paningin ng gobyerno lahat sila pantay-pantay (there are no classes, there is no discrimination, they are all equal ),” he said during his visit to Marikina City on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022.
“Ganyan din ang layunin ko, may awa ang Diyos, at sa tulong ng tao, pagpapantay-pantayin ko ang karapatan at oportunidad ng bawat Pilino sa Mindanao, sa Visayas, sa Luzon. Ngayon lang sila makakakita ng gobyerno na tao ang nauuna. Mahalaga ang tao, may importansya ang tao (That is also my goal, and with God's mercy and with the help of the people, I will equalize the rights and opportunities of every Filipino in Mindanao, in the Visayas, in Luzon. This is the only time they will see a government where people come first),” he added.
Equality, diversity, and inclusivity are all included in Domagoso's 10-point Bilis Kilos Economic Agenda.
In October last year, Domagoso signed Ordinance No. 8695 or the Manila LGBTQI Protection Ordinance, which aims to eliminate “any and all forms of discrimination against LGBTQI solely on the basis of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE).”
“Sa akin (for me), more than the recognition, is for them, these talents, to be utilized by us. And it’s a matter of policy, you’ve been seeing that in Manila,” the chief executive previously said.
“As long as you recognize their skills, their talents, then they excel in their field of undertaking. I have high respect for people, because love begets love; respect begets respect," he added.
