SM Cinema reveals ticket price for live viewing of ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul’


Philippine cinema chain SM Cinema has revealed the ticket price for the live viewing of the “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul” concert in March.

BTS will hold the concert “Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul” concert on March 10, 12 and 13 at the Olympic Stadium.

The March 12 show, which will start at 6 p.m. KST (5 p.m. in the Philippines) will have a global theater live-viewing to allow fans of BTS in different countries to watch the concert. The March 10 and 13 concerts will have online streaming.

In an announcement on Feb. 22, SM Cinema set the ticket price at P1,900 ($37). It said the live viewing will start at 4:45 p.m. Philippine time with an “immediate playback” at 8:45 p.m.

“Get ready! BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul: Live Viewing straight from Korea! A Performance for BTS and ARMY to dance together exclusive to #SMCinemaExclusive!” SM Cinema announced.

The “Permission to Dance on Stage” concert will be BTS’ first time to have an in-person concert in two nearly two and a half years since the “2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final” that was held on Oct. 26, 27 and 29, 2019 in Seoul.

The BTS Seoul concert website stated that the show will be broadcast to cinemas worldwide on March 12. Tickets will be on sale in Asia on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. KST (9 a.m. in the Philippines), and North and South America, Europe and Oceania on Feb. 22.

“All advertised LIVE VIEWING showtimes will be posted 15 minutes earlier than the concert show time in a number of regions and theaters for a seamless LIVE VIEWING experience. The exact starting time may be delayed depending on the circumstances on site,” according to the concert website.

It added, “This concert will take place in Korean, and subtitles in other languages are not available. There may be issues with video and sound due to unforeseeable circumstances during the LIVE VIEWING as this is a real-time broadcasting event.

“The total running time may change depending on the circumstances on-site on the day of, and broadcasting may end early should the running time far exceed the scheduled running time. This is a screening event that is held at the theater, and you may be able to bring your ARMY BOMB depending on the theater guidelines in your region,” it said.

In addition, “Cheering, eating and/or drinking inside the theater may be restricted depending on the COVID-19 circumstances in your region. Please make your inquiry to the theater near you for more information. Recording - both video and photography - is strictly prohibited inside the theater. You may be asked to leave the premises after deleting the recordings should such activities be discovered.”
