Korean actress and “#Alive” star Park Shin-hye celebrated her 32nd birthday on Feb. 19 and to mark the occasion, her wedding planner released pre-wedding photos.
"A lovely couple. It's Park Shin Hye's birthday today. She's always bright and beautiful. I hope you have a nice day. Miss you!" wedding planner Laciel, which organized the wedding of Park Shin-hye and actor Choi Tae-joon, posted on Instagram along with their photo.
In the photo, taken during the pre-wedding pictorial, Park Shin-hye is wearing a bridal dress by Filipino-American fashion designer Monique Lhuillier. Choi Tae-joon is wearing a tuxedo by Lord & Tailor.
In another set of photos, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon are seen kissing and having fun during the pictorial.
Park Shin-hye, then 31, and Choi Tae-joon, 30, got married on Jan. 22 in a star-studded ceremony at Oryun Community Church in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
For the wedding, she wore a gown by Oscar de la Renta while she donned dresses by Lhuillier and De la Renta.
Stars who came to the star couple’s wedding were Lee Min-ho, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Nam Goong-min, IU, Lee Seo-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, Ryu Jun-yeol, AOA’s Seolhyun, Lee Sun-bin, Lee Dong-hwi, Bae Jeong-nam, former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae, Kim Myung-min, Kim Bum, 2PM’s Chansung, Nam Ji-hyun, Seulong, Oh Yeon-seo, Uhm Ji-won, Yoon Kyun-sang and Kim Ye-won.
At the ceremony, EXO’s D.O., FT Island’s Hongki, Crush and Lee Juck sang original soundtracks from Korean dramas. Zico, a friend of Choi Tae-joon, read a letter addressed to the couple.
Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon tied the knot after four years of being together. They publicly admitted their relationship in March 2018.
Last Nov. 23, Park Shin-hye wrote a letter to announce that she was getting married and that she was pregnant with Choi Tae-joon’s baby.
“I am getting married to the person I have been seeing for a while now. He was my pillar of support for a long time, and he embraced the person Park Shin Hye with all of her lacking qualities. So I'm planning to start a new life with him as a married couple,” she wrote, according to SBS News.
She added, “Furthermore, although I am a little hesitant to discuss this since it is still in its very early stages, but while we began preparing for our marriage, a precious new life came to us. I wanted to share this news to you first, most of all,” the actress said about her pregnancy.”
