Fire destroys P15-M worth of properties in Allen, N. Samar

TACLOBAN CITY - At least P15 million worth of properties went up in smoke when a fire broke out in a commercial area in Allen, Northern Samar Thursday night (Feb. 17).

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP-8) said the fire that started at around 10:35 P.M. reached Alarm Level 3.

Firemen from Allen Fire Station immediately responded to the incident.

Witnesses said several explosions were heard as the fire was in progress at Zone 1, Brgy. Sabang of the said town.

At least eight establishments were burned down while 12 families were displaced by the fire.

The responding fire fighters were able to control the fire at 4 A.M. on Friday.

No casualty was reported during the incident while the cause of the fire is still being determined.
