Dashlabs.ai simplifyng Healthcare

The first Filipino healthcare technology startup backed by premier Silicon Valley accelerator Y Combinator, Dashlabs.ai successfully raised its seed round in 2021 at a slight oversubscription after going through stringent due diligence by all investors. ADB Ventures had an added criteria that Dashlabs.ai is addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Founded in 2020, Dashlabs.ai started out as a volunteer effort to help combat the pandemic. DashLabs.ai helped the Philippine Red Cross with its digitization, automation, and real-time processing of more than 5 million COVID-19 RT-PCR tests in the Philippines.

Dashlabs.ai pioneered the introduction of the Electronic Case Investigation Form (eCIF), co-developed the COVID Documents Repository System (CDRS) APIs with the Department of Health (DOH) to make reporting from labs real-time, and created a proprietary AI algorithm that smartly recommends results to doctors, medical technologists, and pathologists, shortening turn around times from weeks to a matter of hours.

Dashlabs.ai is also credited with having helped bring Saliva RT-PCR testing to the country, using data science and machine learning to justify its effectiveness, thereby reducing the overall cost of RT-PCR testing in the country.

Beyond the pandemic, Dashlabs.ai has since moved to also do non-COVID diagnostics on its platform, including those for conducting Annual Physical Exams (APE) as required by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Dashlabs.ai’s vaccination product has served hundreds of thousands of people, and has garnered praises from all stakeholders for its ease of use, and streamlined and orderly process. Modules for clinics, hospitals, other healthcare institutions, and healthcare professionals are also available for instant sign-up and deployment.

The forward-thinking startup counts in its portfolio of clients some of the biggest players in diagnostics in the Philippines. These includes Hi-Precision Diagnostics, Safeguard DNA Diagnostics, BeSafe MD, Kairos Molecular, among others.

Dashlabs.ai has also partnered with powerhouses such as Ayala Corporation’s AC Health HealthNow, Angkas, CareSpan, MedHyve, among others, to bring to even more people the benefits brought by the synergy created across these institutions.

Dashlabs.ai is looking to serve even more labs and healthcare institutions in the Philippines. Dashlabs.ai is also open to having both domestic and international institutional partnerships in bringing healthcare innovation to emerging markets through organizations that have deep local roots.
