Governor Jonvic Remulla of vote-rich Cavite province on Friday, Feb. 11 endorsed the candidacies of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Remulla, who prior to the campaign season hit another presidential candidate in Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and defended opposition Palace bet Leni Robredo against bashers, publicly announced his endorsement of the BBM-Sara tandem during Marcos Jr.'s campaign rally in his province.
The governor said in a text message that Marcos Jr. “is the most coherent, objective and committed candidate we have".
Remulla also said that his family share “a deep friendship” wirh the Marcoses that has lasted about 50 years.
“Put those two factors together and my commitment is inescapable,” he said.
