In the recent mediation for the Vivamax original film “The Wife," Diego Loyzaga shared his impromptu trip to the US, where he is currently having a great time.

“Every place I go to, I’m hanging with different people. I’m in LA now with some family friends and some homies that I should’ve met way, way back, but I’m hanging with them now. I’m enjoying. I love it here. I’m really loving the United States. Of all the countries I’ve been to in the world, this is the first time I’ve been to the United States of America and I think I’ve found a home in this place, to be honest. I really like it here. I fit in really well here. I’m not tooting my own horn, but the people around here, they say, ‘Hey Diego, you should stay and get a job here.’ I don’t know. I like it here. It’s really nice,” he shared.

Last week, Barbie Imperial confirmed their breakup amid speculations that this prompted Diego to fly abroad. Up to now, Diego refuses to share any details on the status of their relationship.

“I came here all of a sudden. I came here, it wasn’t planned. I don’t think Barbie has a blue passport. I booked my flight a day before I left, so I don’t think she could’ve come here even if she wanted to come here. She needs a visa to come here,” he added.

In his latest film, Diego plays the role of Louise Delos Reyes’s two-timing husband Cris who has an affair with his ex-girlfriend and childhood sweetheart. But just as the couple tries to mend their marriage, Diego’s character gets diagnosed with cancer. His wife and mistress now find themselves in a situation where they both want to be in Cris’s life. Starring Louise Delos Reyes, Diego Loyzaga, and Cara Gonzales, the heavy-drama is written and directed by Denise O’Hara. "The Wife" streams on Vivamax beginning Feb. 11.
