Domagoso went to the Rodriguez Municipal Hall, together with his vice presidential candidate, Dr. Willie Ong, and three senatorial candidates, Atty. Joseph Peter ‘Jopet’ Sison; Samira Gutoc; and Carl Balita, to introduce themselves to the Montalban officials and employees led by Mayor Dennis ‘Tom’ Hernandez.

The Manila mayor briefly presented his major platforms of governance, where life and livelihood will be the priorities during his first two years in office if he is elected as president.

“I would like to simplify the way we are going to approach our situation. In the next two years, simple lang (its simple), life and livelihood. Itatawid natin ang mga kababayan natin sa pandemya (We will bring our people across the pandemic), Domagoso said.

Domagoso also said “pagpag” and “batchoy,” street lingos for any left-over food that scavengers and street dweller pick from the garbage bins of food chains and restaurants, which characterize how the poor people live, will be addressed by his administration.

“Pagpag,” which came from the Tagalog word which means to shake off, is termed as such, as the food is shaken off by the scavengers to remove the dirt and unpalatable portion that sticks to it before it is consumed immediately or cooked later.

Moreno said he aims for every Filipino to be healthy and safe from the pandemic and would eventually live a normal life with their livelihood.

“To learn to live with COVID-19 and go back to work safely,” Moreno added.

He urged those present at the municipal hall to help him win the presidency as he admitted that winning the presidency is a “tough fight.”

He narrated how he managed all the difficulties in life and how he survived from the time that he was a scavenger, side car boy, to becoming an artist, before entering politics.

Domagoso said it is his desire to bring dignity and quality of life to the poor through his programs of jobs and livelihood, health, housing, and education, which, according to him, are the minimum basic needs that his administration would provide.

Team Bilis Kilos (Team Swift Action) also talked before a crowd inside a covered court in Barangay San Isidro.
