‘All of Us Are Dead’ tops Netflix global chart for 2nd straight week with 236-M hours viewed


The Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” grabbed the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s Global Top 10 chart for the second straight week and is now the fifth most popular title.

Netflix released its rankings for the global top 10 most viewed shows and films on the streaming platform from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6.

In the top 10 non-English shows, “All of Us Are Dead,” released on Jan. 28, is the No. 1 most watched show with 236.23 million hours viewed in the seven-day period, an increase of 111.44 million hours viewed or 89 percent from 124.79 million hours viewed it garnered in its debut on the chart for the period Jan. 24 to 30.

In total, “All of Us Are Dead” has been viewed 361.02 million hours from Jan. 24 to Feb. 6.

“For the second straight week it is the most viewed title on Netflix. In just 10 days, the breakout Korean zombie thriller jumped to the fifth spot on the Most Popular list with 361.02-M hours viewed,” according to Netflix.

The Most Popular list refers to the most viewed titles in the first 28 days on Netflix.

In its second week on the Netflix chart, “All of Us Are Dead” is in the top 10 shows in 94 countries and territories including the US and United Kingdom, up from 91 in its first week.

Among the 94, “All of Us Are Dead” is No. 1 in 62 countries and territories, up from 29 in the last weekly chart.

“All of Us Are Dead” tells the story about a group of students trapped in their high school when zombies invade. It stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Lomon (aka Park Solomon), Cho Yi-hyun, Yoo In-soo, Lim Jae-hyeok, Son Sang-Yeon and Lee Yoo-mi.
