realme has built a strong presence with their impressive volley of smartphones at modest prices. They’ve since explored other areas of technology, giving birth to their TechLife products, which includes a smart TV, a weighing scale, a vacuum cleaner, and even an electric toothbrush.
So it comes as no surprise that realme is expanding once more, this time with the announcement of their first TechLife sub-brand, DIZO.
Under the DIZO name, these products include the DIZO Wireless, Buds Z, GoPods Neo and Go Pods D, and the DIZO Watch 2.
The DIZO GoPods D features 20 hours of battery life and boasts a 10mm large Bass boost driver. DIZO promises the GoPods D has an environmental noise cancellation for calls and low latency audio for gaming.

The DIZO GoPods Neo, while having the same 10mm large Bass boost driver from its GoPods D counterpart, offers a few more features, including Transparency Mode that allows you to hear voices even though background noise is being cancelled. The Dual Mic Noise Cancellation kicks in during calls, reducing noise for a clearer end-to-end conversation. Battery lasts up to 28 hours. And, if you’re thinking of going out for a run using the GoPods Neo, you might be delighted to know it is IPX5 water resistant.

On the other hand, if you want more power from your audio gear and something with a bit more style, there is the DIZO Buds Z. The glossy texture was designed to reflect and bounce light to give it a sparkle, or a glimmering effect. The Buds Z will last up to 4.5 hours but the charging case can fill it up about three times, for a total of 16 hours. Even if that isn’t enough, the case features fast-charging, within 10 minutes you get up to an hour and a half of power. The Buds Z features the convenient Instant Connection, where opening the case within proximity of your phone is enough to pair it.

If carrying an egg-shaped charging case doesn’t jive with you, the neckbuds are still pretty much in with the DIZO Wireless. You get up to 17 hours of battery life and a slightly larger 11.2mm Bass boost driver. It features Magnetic Instant Connection, where separating the buds from each other will resume playing your currency track, while magnetically attaching them together will pause your music. It’s IPX4 water resistant, so a little sweat and drizzle shouldn’t faze the DIZO Wireless.
Now we finally have all the audio devices sorted out, we can hone in on the DIZO Watch 2. Within its metal frame is a 4.3cm touchscreen that can get really bright. Water resistance measures at 5ATM, which means the Watch 2 has no problems getting wet while you’re washing hands or running through the rain. And of course, the Watch 2 can be used as a health monitor. You can track your blood oxygen and heart rate. It has a Sleep Monitor, to give you a bunch of data about how you sleep, and other health reminders like relax for a bit and drink water–it’s important to stay hydrated, after all.

We’re pretty excited about what's next for DIZO, their own lineup of smart TVs doesn’t seem far-fetched. There’s also a big emphasis on realme’s mention of DIZO being their “first” sub-brand, which seems to suggest additional sub-brands in the future. But that’s just me speculating. We’ll be reviewing the DIZO products soon, so stay tuned.
