The official launch was led by Deputy Speaker and Cavite 2nd District Representative Strike B. Revilla, Mayor Lani M. Revilla, STRH Chief Dr. Ruby Rubiano, and Undersecretary Roger Tong-An of the Department of Health (DOH) Field Implementation and Coordination Team.

Rep. Revilla's five-year-old daughter was among the children who were inoculated during the rollout.

"Nandoon pa rin, tingin ko, bilang magulang na matakot. Pero 'yang takot na 'yan, nakita naman po natin na 'yung bakuna siyang nagbibigay ng pag-asa sa atin sa buong mundo. Nakita natin na bumaba ang cases dahil sa bakuna (There is still that tendency for parents to be scared. But that fear, we're already seeing that the vaccine is giving hope to the world. We've seen cases go down because of the vaccine)," Rep. Revilla said in his speech during the launch.

Mayor Revilla said pediatric vaccination is crucial especially now that the Department of Education is gearing up to go back to face-to-face classes.

The local government unit is urging parents and guardians to sign up their children for vaccination through Bacoor's COVID Electric Immunization Record (CEIR) registration system available online.
