Isko-Willie tandem to hold proclamation rally at Kartilya ng Katipunan

Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso and his running mate Dr. Willie Ong will hold their proclamation rally at the Kartilya ng Katipunan on Tuesday, Feb. 8, kicking off the start of the 90-day campaign period for national candidates.

The Aksyon Demokratiko proclamation rally will be from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Aksyon Demokratiko senatorial bets Joseph Peter "Jopet" Sison, Samira Gutoc, and Carl Balita are expected to join in the event.

Domagoso's team assured that health protocols outlined by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) such as the implementation of social distancing and wearing of face masks will be strictly observed in the Aksyon Demokratiko campaign trail.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) had also earlier reminded that all candidates are prohibited from all forms of physical contact such as hugging, shaking hands, and posing for selfies or group pictures.

Gathering crowds, entering homes during door-to-door stops and distributing food, drinks “and all other goods and items", are also not allowed.
