Netflix’s new Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” is now the No. 1 show in the US, achieving the milestone in seven days.
The series is about students who are trapped in their high school when zombies invade. They need to fight off the zombies to survive. It stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Lomon (aka Park Solomon), Cho Yi-hyun, Yoo In-soo, Son Sang-Yeon and Lee Yoo-mi.
According to streaming analytics company FlixPatrol, “All of Us Are Dead” rose to the top spot in the US on Feb. 4 from ranking No. 3 on Feb. 3.
FlixPatrol uses Netflix’s Top 10 lists on Netflix accounts by country as the basis for its ranking. One Netflix customer in the US also provided a screenshot of the Top 10 list, showing “All of Us Are Dead” is now the top show.
Since Jan. 29, “All of Us Are Dead” has been in the top 3 shows in the US.
As of Feb. 4, “All of Us Are Dead” is the No. 1 show in 56 countries and territories after achieving the top ranking in 59 on Feb. 3.
Besides the US, “All of Us Are Dead” is also No. 1 in Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Maltva, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Sweden Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
“All of Us Are Dead,” released on Jan. 28, topped 25 countries and territories on Jan. 29. It grabbed the top spot in 44 countries and territories on Jan. 30 followed by 46 on Jan. 31, 54 on Feb. 1, 58 on Feb. 2, 59 on Feb. 3 and 56 on Feb. 4, according to FlixPatrol.
FlixPatrol awards points to shows and movies depending on the position in the chart. Ten points are given to a show for ranking No. 1 and 1 point for being No. 10. For Netflix, FlixPatrol uses the Netflix top 10 feature.
“All of Us Are Dead” debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s own Top 10 chart, garnering 124.79 million hours viewed for the period Jan. 24 to 30.
