Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte share keys to successful relationship

Having been together five years as a couple have taught celebrities Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte so many things.

During a recent virtual press conference, the two candidly shared how they make their relationship work.

"Hindi siya kailangan laging kilig, sweet, "Loisa said, adding, "Madaming kailangan para mag work ang relationship."

Among these she said are "respect," "compromise," "give and take."

And they aren't allowed to keep secrets from each other.

She went on: "Basta dapat gusto niyong dalawa mag-work ang relasyon. Pero kung may isang umayaw, yun ang malabo."

The 22-year-old star made clear they don't prevent each other from doing what they want individually.

She shared that Ronnie still gets to pursue his many passions including motorcycle riding and basketball, while she gets to binge-watching her favorite series, walk her dogs, and take care of her plants.

Where do they see their relationship heading?

Loisa answered: "Ang hirap magsabi kasi hindi natin masabi yung future. Ngayon nga akala natin okay na, di pa din pala, di ba? Hirap. Di ko masasabi yung future pero gusto ko habang inaabot namin ni Ronnie yung goal namin and yung future na gusto namin, e ine-enjoy namin yung life."

This Valentine's Day, Loisa and Ronnie will be appearing in iWantTFC’s original series "The Goodbye Girl” with Angelica Panganiba, Barbie Imperial, Maris Racal, and Elisse Joson.

Based on the book of the same name by best-selling author Noreen Capili, “The Goodbye Girl” illustrates the five types of heartbreak as seen from the eyes of several women. It will share valuable lessons on how to conquer heartbreak and coming out of it stronger, wiser, and better.

Directed by Derick Cabrido, this six-episode series is iWantTFC’s Valentine’s Day offering. It streams worldwide exclusively on the iWantTFC app and website on Feb. 14, with new episodes dropping daily.

The show is narrated by Yanna (Angelica), a financial advisor-turned-author whose world crumbles when she comes home to her husband, Y (RK Bagatsing), who announces he will be leaving her for his one great love. Yanna immediately gets drunk and hops on social media to livestream her miserable situation. Her relatable story goes viral overnight, and she becomes known as “The Goodbye Girl.”

Yanna finds her new purpose in life, which is to give online advice to people who have gone through the same thing. One day, she gets a book deal from a charming publisher named Jeff (JC De Vera) to write about the stories her followers have shared with her and the advice she’s given them.

Meet Mara (Loisa), “The Clueless Girl,” an actress who seems to have everything but can’t figure out why no one is willing to stay with her. Her ex-boyfriends have dumped her for no obvious reason – not even a third party – including her most recent one, Gab (Ronnie). Why do men fall in love with her quickly, but dump her just as fast?
