A kiddie meal for the kids-at-heart

Yesterday, Feb. 2, at exactly 1p.m., Jollibee announced that their kiddie meals will come with “Jollibots,” where Jollibee and his friends are made into a Chickenjoy bucket, Jolly spaghetti, Jolly crispy fries, Sundae twirl, and a yum burger. The fun part, you’ll be able to transform them into Jollibee’s original mascots Hetty, Yum, Popo, Twirlie, and Jollibee himself. And yes, they have the same feel as the old ones back in the 2000s.

As our history serves us, Jollibee, the main character, was originally made in 1980 together with Yum (formerly Mr. Yum) who is a tech-savvy boy. In 1984, They were followed by Hetty the cheerleader and the sporty one, Popo. In 1988, the last one who came into the picture was Twirlie, a very talented girl who’s good at acting, singing, and dancing.

The first era of the “Jolly Kiddie Meal” was from 2001 up until 2004. It later became “Jolly Kids Meal” from 2004 to 2016. Then, from 2016 up until our present, the second era of “Jolly Kiddie Meal.” Now, who doesn’t remember Jollitown that first premiered in 2008? Back then, it was the show to watch while enjoying your Kiddie Meal.

Nostalgic, isn’t it? Well, now, you can drive to your nearest Jollibee branch and get the whole lot and relive that happy feeling. Hurry up though! Your uncle or auntie might be running to Jollibee right this very second.

Order through the Jollibee App, JollibeeDelivery.com, #87000, GrabFood, or foodpanda. Also available via Take Out and Drive-Thru.
