I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all the members of the Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation as you celebrate your 122nd anniversary.

The role of media was further highlighted this time of COVID-19 pandemic, particularly with the existence of various variants not only here in the City of Manila but worldwide. It is important for the public to be fully informed on the efforts of the government to always protect its citizens and the availability of COVID-19 vaccines and medical drugs.

As the city mayor of the nation’s capital, rest assured that we will continue to support you in serving the Filipino people and all your readers worldwide. May you continue to provide informative and factual news this time of pandemic where disinformation exists in our society.
