“Kaning flag nga dala nako para sa inyoha aron mangampanya sa inyoha ug patriotism o pagmahal sa atung nasud. Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas (I give you this flag to call for patriotism or love of country),” she told a crowd gathered outside the house of John Paredes, a supporter in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.
She was accompanied by local and national officials of Lakas-CMD which she heads as chairperson.
Deputy Speaker and Surigao del Sur First District Rep. Prospero Pichay Jr., together with his wife, Cantilan Mayor Carla Pichay, welcomed Duterte’s team on Tuesday as the motorbike riders headed by Duterte arrived in Bislig, Surigao del Sur.

Duterte, who is also founder and chairperson of regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabago, will be joining TeamUnity partner, presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos in the nationwide campaign.
“Mayor Inday Sara’s ‘Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas’ caravan is a very good event because right now, we are trying to inculcate in the minds of the people, especially the youth the sense of patriotism and love of country, which I think in the modern days are being taken for granted,” Pichay, who mobilized thousands of supporters to welcome and greet Duterte.
In San Francisco town, the caravan received a warm welcome from Gov. Santiago Cane Jr. the other officials of the various localities.
The MNPR caravan was conceptualized amid the challenges brought by the imposition of different travel and social gathering restrictions against the spread of COVID-19.
