ILOILO CITY — Two separate anti-drug operations in the highly urbanized cities of Iloilo and Bacolod yielded around P1.12-million worth of shabu (crystal meth).
Police Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo, director of Police Regional Office (PRO-6), lauded cops for two major drug hauls as the month of January came to a close.
Of the two operations, the one in Bacolod City was larger in terms of weight and amount. The 110 grams of shabu was estimated to be worth around P748,000.
The joint operation of the Bacolod City Police Office City-Drug Enforcement Unit (BCPO-DEU), and PRO-6’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrest two high-value targets. The suspected drug personalities are John Lloyd Golero and Michael Doromal.
The anti-drug operation in Iloilo City yielded P374,000 worth of shabu, which was 55 grams. The PRO-6’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Richard Dipol, Renerose Macoco, Rosita Macoco, Teddy Boy Pitogo, Michelle Soliman, and a 16-year-old minor. Another person was able to flee authorities.
All suspects are charged with violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
