Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon now moderate risk for COVID-19
The provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon are now at moderate risk for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), OCTA Research said Tuesday, Feb. 1.

", Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, and Rizal at moderate risk as of Jan. 31, with new cases trending downward," OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David wrote on Twitter.
"The goal in NCR is to reduce positivity rate below 10 ," he added.
NCR and Rizal retained their moderate risk classification, while Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon were downgraded from being high risk for COVID-19 last week.
As of Jan. 31, the positivity rate in NCR is at 17 percent, 20 percent in Batangas, 31 percent in Cavite, 21 percent in Laguna, 25 percent in Quezon, and eight percent in Rizal.
Meanwhile, the average attack daily rate in NCR is at 19.58, 11.83 in Batangas, 16.12 in Cavite, 17.23 in Laguna, 7.43 in Quezon, and 11.79 in Rizal.
An attack rate is defined as the proportion of those who became infected after a specified exposure.
Meanwhile, healthcare utilization for NCR and the five provinces are considered "low," according to OCTA.
