As the reigning ONE strawweight champion, Joshua Pacio isn't feeling any pressure amid the ongoing dispute with him and rising star Jarred Brooks.

Pacio still gave his hats off to Brooks after the former UFC fighter dominated Hiroba Minowa in the ONE: Only the Brave Friday, Jan. 28.
But the Team Lakay stalwart insisted that Brooks hasn't fought the likes of him.
"If you are an athlete, you will also think that you are the best in the world. That's just his mindset and I respect his mindset," said the 25-year-old Pacio, who holds a 20-3 record.
"But I'm the one sitting on the top so I think I'm the best in the world right now."
It would be recalled that Brooks once again called out the attention of Pacio after beating Minowa.
After the win, the 28-year-old Brooks easily hurdled to the No. 3 rank in the strawweight division while Minowa fell to No. 4.
Bokang Masunyane is currently the top contender, Yosuke Saruta follows at second, while Alex Silva places at No. 5.
Prior to Minowa, Brooks also overwhelmed Pacio's teammate Lito Adiwang in his promotional debut, scoring a second-round submission win last October.
Since then, Pacio has been on Brooks' radar as they continue to exchange words.
"Kung sinasabi niyang 'di pa ako nakakalaban ng kagaya niya, hindi pa rin siya nakakalaban ng kagaya ko (If he's saying I haven't fought someone like him, he hasn't fought someone like me as well)," said Pacio. "While he's climbing the ladders, mafe-feel at mafe-feel niya rin 'yong pressure (he'll feel the pressure anytime soon).
"For me, there's no pressure. I know that I'm getting better every day. Sa lahat ng laban niyo, hindi niyo pa nakikita 'yong full potential ni Joshua Pacio. I'm still young, growing. Marami pang years na makikita niya mag-e-evolve (For all the fights you have witnessed, you haven't seen the full potential of Joshua Pacio yet. I'm still young and growing and you'll still see me evolve through the years)," added the Igorot warrior.
Pacio knocked out Saruta in their trilogy for his latest win and title defense last September.
