The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case classification in Metro Manila is now down to moderate risk, and the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) took this cue to set new arrival protocols for international passengers.

The business community welcomed this development with Presidential Adviser on Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion saying that this will augur well with the economy.

Meanwhile, registered live births among Filipinos have gone on a “generally decreasing trend” in the past eight years, with 2020 registering the highest decline at 8.7 percent, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
