Following rumors that Kapuso actors Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana have called it quits after three months of marriage, netizens have started to monitor their social media accounts.

Some online users noticed that aside from Tom not following Carla on Instagram, both also shared seemingly "cryptic" posts, adding fuel to the fire.

On Instagram, the 34-year-old Tom uploaded a video with the written text ".float" with a dark background.

Then the spiels from the Japanese anime sci-fi series "Cowboy Bebop" started playing.

Character Faye said: "And now you're leaving just like that. Why do you have to go? Where are you going? What are you going to do? Just throw away your life like it was nothing?!"

Spike answered with: "I'm not going there to die. I'm going to find out if I'm really alive."

It was followed up with a song whose lyrics goes: "I wonder if I stepped off / Would have float in space / Standing at a crossroads / Frozen in place / I'm looking for salvation / But I miss my train / I'm too scared to go / too weak to stay..."

Prior, Tom uploaded a clip of a crucifix while the Christian worship track "You Hold It All Together" is playing in the background.

"Sunday vibes on a Saturday...a blessed day to everyone," he wrote as caption along with a praying emoji.

Meanwhile, a day before Tom's old post, Carla shared photos of her along with the caption: "Lose yourself (black heart emoji)."

Then later, she has been sharing clips of her meditation practice and her quick cardio warm-up.

It was October 2021 when Carla and Tom tied the knot after eight years of being sweethearts. Their sweet wedding vows even melted their fans' hearts.

“I can’t imagine my life without you from here on because you’ve enriched my life in more ways than I can readily express. Like when dad passed, I have to admit, I lost my faith. I lost my way but your boundless capacity for love was the road that led me back into His arms. I know dad is with Him now but he would have loved to have been here,” Tom told Carla.

“So here we are in front of all of our loved ones, and truth be told, I need all of them here because I need to know that none of this is a dream, that this angel standing before me really is mine, and somehow, she loves me deeply and completely. Heaven must have never been the same that day you came down and graced my life.”

The actor, whose real name is Bartolome Alberto Mott, ended his sweet message with: “I want to be there to help raise our children at mga apo, both humans and fur babies alike, because I’ve often imagined what you would look like as a lola. Panigurado, magandang-maganda and I can’t wait to find out for myself. Pero ngayon, dito muna tayo dahil narinig ko na ang matamis mong sagot. At excited na ako na finally, official na. Ako si Mister at ikaw si Madam Mott. I love you.”

Meanwhile, Carla deemed Tom as her answered prayer.

“Over eight years ago, I prayed for you. But the thing is, back then I didn’t even know it was you who I was praying for. I even completed Simbang Gabi praying that I would finally meet the man who will love me unconditionally and take very, very good care of me. While I completed that Simbang Gabi, I seriously never thought that the man I prayed for was already so close to me. That we had already crossed paths, months prior. We even played husband and wife for work. I didn’t even have to pray anymore because God had already answered my prayer in advance. What a plot twist!”

Then she went on to recall how she knew then that Tom is the one.

“God was constantly knocking on my head, screaming ‘He’s the one ano ka ba! Dasal ka ng dasal, hindi ka naman nakikinig sa akin. Hello!’ Soon enough, it just hit me. It really truly felt like my soul had found yours, and it went, ‘Oh, there you are! I’ve been looking all over for you," she said.

“Tom, you returned to the Philippines with practically nothing but the hopes of a new life and a new career. Little did you know that you came back here carrying the most valuable treasure someone here in the Philippines has been praying and waiting for—your heart.”

Carla then promised Tom that she’ll be a dutiful wife. “My vow to you as I become your wife today is very simple. In fact, I vow not just to you but also to your mom and most especially to your dad, Tito Bill. I will keep my promise to him during his final moments here on Earth that I will take good care of you so that he will never have to worry. I love you.” Her dad passed away in 2017.
