On a day when the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases went down substantially anew, the OCTA Research Group came out with the assessment that the situation in Metro Manila is about to get better, and predicted that daily incidence of coronavirus infection could go down to 500 by Valentine’s Day.

This, as the government gave the assurance it was addressing vaccine hesitance in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The Senate has also adopted the resolution on the United Nations Convention of the Reduction of Statelessness.

And with the recent spate of increases in the prices of fuel, the Department of Agriculture (DA) has embarked on a fuel discount program to help farmers and the fisherfolk to cope with the price surge.
