The Sibol national team is set to compete in all esports titles in the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.
After conducting Phase 1 of the Sibol national team qualifiers for titles Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Crossfire last week, the Philippine eSport organization has opened registration to other esport titles namely Arena of Valor, Free Fire and PC games League of Legends and FIFA ONLINE 4 on Tuesday, Jan. 25
“Registrations are finally open for the next batch of Team Sibol games Arena of Valor, Garena Free Fire, FIFA ONLINE 4 and League of Legends PC,” Sibol said in an announcement of its page.
Just like in the first batch of qualifiers, participants should be 18 years old and above come the biennial meet in May. Registration for the four new titles will run from Jan. 25 to Feb. 5.
"With this announcement, we want to inform the public that the Philippine Esports Organization intents to support these esport titles that will be part of the national esports program, Team SIBOL!," said PeSO Executive Director Joebert Yu.
Meanwhile, the top teams in the PMPL Season 5 PH qualifiers will be in consideration for the Sibol national team for Player’s Unknown Battleground (PUBG) Mobile.
Khi Esports, Zap Esports, Demigod Incognito, M42 Esports, and Blacklist International emerged as the five best teams in Tencent’s PH qualifiers which happened over the weekend in partnership with Sibol.
The national team tryouts for MLBB, Wild Rift and Crossfire are now on Phase 2 and are set to fire off on Thursday, Jan. 27 with conclusion happening on Sunday, Jan. 30.
The PeSO delegation was already included in the Philippine Olympic Committee's 584 athletes for the Hanoi Games.
